I was recently given the opportunity to host a party sponsored by Oral B and Crest. I hosted my party on December 3rd.

Oral B and Crest sent me all the stuff that I needed to host an AWESOME party. All the kids and parents really enjoyed themselves, but mostly the kids did!!!! We even got to watch Cars 2 during the party, and EVERYONE was REALLY into the movie. The kids were really excited about all the samples they were able to take home with them, and even the fact that they got to try all the stuff out at the party. I have NEVER seen so many kids so excited about brushing their teeth.

The moms were really amazed, as well, at how excited the kids were about all this stuff. They were also really impressed with the way the stuff tasted. All the parents said that they were going to continue to buy this stuff seeing how eager the kids were to try it. Usually there is battle about having kids brush their teeth, but not with this stuff.

Overall, it was a REALLY great party. The guests really enjoyed themselves. They really enjoy when I am able to host parties like this. The kids all left happy with their samples after having just watched Cars 2, most of them for the first time!!!

MONKEY QUEST REVIEW and GIVEAWAY!!!!

Recently my kids and I were given the opportunity to review the new Nickelodeon game "Monkey Quest"!! My kids had heard about it before and had been wanting to play it, so this opportunity came at the right time.

They were so excited to see that we were given this opportunity, they NEEDED to go on and play immediately. As soon as we opened the package, we were already on the website setting it up to play. My boys ABSOLUTELY loved this game. They could not get enough of it and they were fighting over who was gonna play. They have not stopped playing. As soon as they get home from school, they want to get right on the computer and play!!!!

As for me, I think that the graphics are AWESOME, story line is GREAT, and it keeps the kids busy for a LONG time. So all in all, I give it a thumbs up. I will recommend this game to any parent with kids, especially little boys (although girls can play too, as my daughter does)!!!! I think this game is one of Nickelodeon's better games by far!!!

I cannot believe she was found not guilty. WTH was that jury thinking?!? I hope that the guilt becomes to much for her and she does something terrible to herself. She NEEDS to suffer the way she made Caylee suffer. Her and OJ need to get married, cause they would make a GREAT couple!!!!

And I cannot believe that she is going to appeal her charges she was found guilty of. That is just pure insanity!! Its not like she really had to do any extra time, other than a week!!!!!!

AAAARRRRGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Times like this I think our Justice system REALLY REALLY sucks!!!

Hey everyone, well those that still read. Not sure I have many readers anymore. I am so sorry for the lack of blog posts lately. I really have no excuse other than life. It is summer vacation for the kiddos, so I have been trying to keep them busy. We have been doing lots of fun things, going to the grandparents house, baseball games, swimming, parks, beaches, etc.

We also have a new kitty. Her name is Bella, she is a ball of energy. Her and the dog get along AWESOMELY!!!! I am so happy for that. They actually cry when they are not around each other.

We are going to be going to the river next month, and Boo Boo has a birthday as well. I am also going on a solo (much needed) trip to Vegas. I am meeting up with some friends there. It is going to be so awesome. I need to get away by myself.

As for the kids, they are all good. N is getting too big. He has quite the sense of humor and ALWAYS has us laughing. He has his moms scarcastic ways and his dads witty sense of humor. He is doing awesome in school. He is going to be starting the 5th grade. I cannot believe I am old enough to have a 5th grader......Oh man, where has the time gone?!

Boo Boo is doing good. He is very caring, and has a very soft heart. N really knows how to take advantage of it too. We are trying to get Boo Boo to toughen it up a little bit, especially when it comes to N. He is going to be starting 3rd grade. He is getting too big, and he is still VERY into sports and he is VERY active!!!

M is a typical 4 year old. She is going through a very dramatic stage right now, and it makes me crazy!! She cries even if you look at her the wrong way. She is also discovering how to push our buttons. It seems that she is getting yelled at more often than not. You tell her not to do something, and she cries and cries. Needless to say she is spending a LOT of time in her room. She is going to be starting school in Sept. I cannot believe my baby is starting Kindergarten. Time has surely flown. It is really going to be bittersweet!!!

I also have my niece living with me right now. She is going to be going to Philly for school at the end of Aug, and her mom and dad were just restationed to Hawaii, so she decided to stay here and spend more time with her friends before she leaves. She was with my mom, but my cousin is there that just broke up with his long time girlfriend (another post) and was only supposed to be there temporarily. Well he is still there. Also my aunt from NJ is out visiting right now, and staying with my mom, so needless to say there is no room there for her!!!

Well, I think I got a little long winded there!!! So sorry. I just wanted to update everyone!!!

I had my party last Sat, March 19. I invited 10 of my closest friends and we all just hung out and tried some creations using Nutella!!! They were ALL a hit!!! EVERYONE had a GREAT time!!! Everyone LOVED Nutella!!! Most of the people had never tried it, but they loved it once they did!!! Everyone really enjoyed the free samples they got, and I even made hot chocolate for them to drink out of their new mugs.

Now if you have never tried Nutella, I am telling you now, stop reading this blog and go out and buy some!!! I can guarantee you will never want to run out of this stuff. It is absolutely delicious!!!!!!!

I was just recently given the opportunity to review this website, goalforit.com (http://www.goalforit.com/)!! I must say this website is absolutely AWESOME!!! It has a lot to offer in ways of Behavior Charts and Chore Charts, for everyone in your family. Young and old alike!!!

We rely heavily on chore charts in this house, so that is mainly what I used on this site. But I did also use a behavior chart for my 4 year old. She has become very sassy lately, and this worked out great for her. She has shown much improvement since we started using it.

We use the chore charts for all 3 of them, and these chore charts are MUCH better than the handmade ones I was using. Each of them have their own, which they LOVE. They are much more eager now to do their chores than they were before. They also love the fact that it also lists making the beds, getting dressed, brushing teeth, taking showers, etc.

Another GREAT thing about it, is that there are many different designs to choose from that will fit each of your child. My daughter has a pink heart one, and my youngest son has a baseball one, and my oldest has a camouflage one. They loved helping me pick which design they wanted for their charts.

You can use these chore charts online, and they have special "stickers" to use when they complete a chore for the day, and then a big "sticker" to choose from when the week is up and they have done everything. But you can also print them out and use your own stickers to mark what they have done. The kids love doing it both ways. I print them out so they can use their own stickers, but I also do it online for them so they can see the special "stickers" they have to offer there!!!

Overall, this website is absolutely AMAZING and I WILL continue to use it. I hope that you all decide to utilize it as well!!!

I actually hosted this party on Thanksgiving, since everyone I was going to invite was there anyway. Everyone had the opportunity to just hang out, and talk. And as you will see in the pics, the kids played football (the older ones), and the littler ones played barbies (along with some of the adults)!!! Everyone had a GREAT time, and it was a very relaxed atmosphere. Everyone enjoyed the samples, and LOVE the products as well. They couldnt get enough of the way they smell, and the packaging!!!!

So over all, everyone had a GREAT time, and really enjoyed themselves. They love it when I am given these opportunities!!!!

My Get Together.....

I was given the opportunity to host a party from Yoplait through My Get Together. My Get Together is a part of the "Psst....." Community. If you have never heard of "Pssst....." check them out at http://pssst.generalmills.com/ . It is an awesome community and I absolutely LOVE being a part of them. It is through general mills, and every now and then I get free samples in the mail, and I also get awesome coupons!!!

Anyway, this party was to make breast cancer awareness more known. I know that there is a lot of people out there that dont know about breast cancer, and that they are trying to find a cure.

We had a great time, just sitting around and talking. Eating yogurt, and we were skimming through the book they sent me. I wish I was able to take pictures, but unfortunately my camera was completely dead, thanks to the kids!!!

I collected quite a bit of the pink yogurt lids to send in to yoplait. For every lid you send it, they donate .10 to the Susan G. Komen foundation. So make sure that you are saving those lids and sending them in!!!!

All in all, I had about 10 people come to this party, and it was really nice. We had a really nice time just sitting around talking and hanging out!!!

Homework....and an update!!

Man my boys, this year, and really making me work when it comes to their homework. It is getting harder and harder for them, which means more work for me. It feels like I am starting school ALL over again!!! I feel like I am relearning all this stuff. I dont ever remember my homework being this difficult when I was in school. Some of the stuff, I just have to tell them "wait til your dad gets home"!!! But, it is weird, some of the stuff just comes rushing back to me. Its a trip how much stuff I actually do remember. N's math, is getting harder. And math was never a strong subject of mine, so that is definitely a subject that has to wait til dad gets home!!

Overall the boys are doing awesome in school. Their teachers have no complaints. Although, I do. I am ready to take them out of the school. As soon as we get D's car fixed, I am. There has been more and more shootings at the park behind the school. Well about a week and a half ago, I went to go get them, and there were police everywhere. The crossing guard says "there was a shooting at the park"!! Well then I continue into the school to go wait by Boo Boo's class (like I do every day) and his class is outside doing PE. Now keep in mind, his class faces the park where all this is going on. Then, we are there for about 10 min, when the principal comes by and says "everyone has to go to the cafeteria, we are on lockdown!!" I was pissed, cause school was over in, literally, 2 min. They cant just give us our kids so we can take them home?! They are shoving ALL of us in the cafeteria!? Also, the shooting happened an hour before they decide to put the school on lockdown. In the meantime, the shooter could be in the school shooting it up!!! So after about 20-25 min, they release us. I guess they were searching the school for the shooter. By now, I was livid!!! I am already not happy with the principal, he is catering to the "Hispanics" BIG TIME!!! All the assemblies, he speaks spanish. He is signing the newletters "Sr McNeil"!! I even told him at the end of the school year, "Oh so you do know how to speak english!!"!!! One of the other moms was going to join the PTA and he literally told her "Well you better go buy Rosetta Stone and learn spanish first"!! It is just CRAZY!! And I am done with this school. As soon as I can they are outta there!!! There is a lot more, but I dont have enough blog space to type it all out!!! But I will say that the teachers are AWESOME!!! I have LOVED everyone of my boys teachers so far, and N is in 4th grade!!!

N is the same, nothing has really changed. I am trying to get him to join the boy scouts, but for some reason he wont. He is VERY artistic. He loves music, and drawing, and reading. So maybe I need to put him in a drawing class or something.

Boo Boo, is doing good. He is doing awesome in baseball. He absolutely LOVES it. He always seems to get walked cause he is so little, so he has a little strike zone!!! He just went to the dr for his 7 year physical, and he is 51pounds and 46in. He only grew 2in and gained 4 pounds in a year. He is my little shorty. M is just about the same height and weight!!! But the Dr said everything is fine, he is right on his curve, thats just how he is going to be!!!!

M is awesome!! Her behavior has really improved since I started her behavior chart. She still has her moments, but they arent nearly what they were!!! I just started today, working on her letters. She was working on the letter A, and was doing pretty good!!! Some of them looked like H, but thats ok. Most of them were GREAT!!! I cannot wait for her to start school next year!!!

D and I are doing good. Nothing new going on, except the kids are really keeping us on our toes. If I dont blog for a while, its cause I have no time really to sit down. I have been painting the boys rooms since the roommates moved out. Instead of putting M back in her own room (she shares with us), we put the boys in their own rooms. They need it. They were fighting too much, and at bedtime they were keeping each other awake!!! So I have been painting. It took me a week to do N's room!!! They were dark colors, so I had to primer first, then paint!! Overall, things are great!!!

HEXBUG NANO and MIX PUPS REVIEW PARTIES!!!

I was recently given the opportunity to host parties for both of these toys. I decided the hold the parties on the same day, as they came so close within each other. I had my sons friends over for the Hexbug Nano Party, and I had my daughters friends over for the Mix Pups Party.

The kids had the best time. They really enjoyed themselves. I even found them all mixed up playing with all the toys together. The boys were playing with the mixpups and the girls with the "bug nano" as my daughter calls it.

The girls REALLY loved that you can change the pups clothes and that they have all the different accesories to go with it. They also loved being able to take a pair home with them! Me, myself, I love how cute they are. How could any little girl not fall in love with these little pups?! I wish they had something like this when I was a little girl. I would have loved to play with them. Right now, M is playing with them in combination with her barbies. She is pretending that they are Barbies puppies!!!!

The boys could NOT get enough of these Hexbug Nanos. The were in the room playing with them for hours, while us parents just chit chatted it up!!! The boys didnt want to leave when the party was over. But they were VERY excited to be taking some home with them. I have gotten calls from the parents, that the kids have NOT stopped playing with them!!!! As for my boys, they also absolutely LOVE them. They do NOT go a day without playing with them!!!

Overall, both of these toys were a big hit!!! The kids absolutely LOVED them, as did us parents. We finally found a toy that actually kept the kids quiet for a while. I will absolutely be buying the kids some more of these toys for Christmas and their birthdays!!!

Sorry I haven't been blogging much, life has gotten in the way!!!

Here's whats been going on around here.

Last Thursday the boys started their first day of school. 4th and 2nd grade. I cannot believe that they are already in those grades. Time is just flying. Next year M will be starting Kindergarten. She keeps telling me that she wants to go to school, but then a couple days later she changes her mind, so I am kinda hesitant on putting her in. I know that it will be good for her. I am still weighing my options.

Yesterday was Boo Boo's first game of the Winter Ball season. This was a big game for him as he had to move up, he is no longer in T-Ball. He did GREAT!!! He didnt get any hits, but thats ok, he will not always hit the ball. They won the game 7-1!! At the end, it was VERY intense. I will post pics at the end.

Overall things around here are the same. Always out doing something, whether its baseball practice or just running to the store, life never slows down.

I plan to be here more often, if I am not here, feel free to send me an email and kick my butt back into gear!!!!

Barbie A Fashion Fairytale DVD Review

We were just given the chance to review the newest Barbie DVD, A Fashion Fairytale. This actually just came by FedEx today and M could NOT wait to watch it. She had it in the DVD player before I even had a chance to open it. She is VERY into Barbie's lately, so this was an awesome opportunity for us.

A little background on the movie:

Our review:

She was so intrigued with this movie that she never spoke a word or took her eyes off the movie the whole time. This movie was VERY VERY cute with a GREAT storyline. I plan on buying this movie for my niece for her birthday as she also LOVES barbies. I will be definitely buying some of the toys for M for Christmas. M also hasnt stopped talking about this movie since it ended, and she has asked to watch it again already!!!

Overall, we both LOVE this movie. It is AWESOME!!!

Today marks 9 years since the twin tower plane crashes. I cannot believe it has already been 9 years since it happened, seems like yesterday.

I remember the day well. We were laying in bed, N was almost 10 months at the time, and MIL came in and told us about to crash (at the time there was only one). We turned on the tv and watched the coverage and then proceeded to watch as the second plane crashed into the other building. We were glued to the tv every chance we got. This was a day that changed all our lives forever.

Where were you on this day? Do you remember what you were doing/where you were when you first heard about the crashes?

Remembering those that were lost in the Twin towers 9 years ago today. We shall never forget
We shall keep this day,

WEBKINZ JR. REVIEW

Recently we were given the opportunity to review Webkinz Jr. (http://www.webkinzjr.com/) through a Webkinz Jr. party. My older kids love the regular webkinz, so receiving this opportunity was great for my youngest. She is already in love with stuffed animals and babies as it is, so this was great. We are also introducing her to the computer, so having the site to play games on was a blessing as well. She has REALLY gotten the hang of how to do it, and can do it with no help (other than us needing to log her in).

When I showed them to her and told her that we could have a party and invite her friends, she was soooo excited and just could not wait. We invited 9 of her friends and they had a blast. We let them play outside, even get wet (of course not with the animals) and inside and they just loved having these "friends" to play with. She chose to giraffe for herself, and has yet to put it down. She sleeps with it and he (BJ is the name she chose) goes everywhere with us.

ago today, I gave birth to a wonderful, athletic, handsome, smart baby boy.

After 27 hours of HARD, INTENSE labor, he was born at 6:33am. He was worth every bit of pain I felt. He is a very witty little boy and he definitely keeps us on our toes. He has an awesome sense of humor. He is always making us laugh!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOO BOO!!!! We love you!!

Waterpik Medallion Showerhead Review

Recently I was given the opportunity to review the Waterpik Medallion Showerhead through MomSelect. I have to say, the past 2 weeks worth of showers I have taken have been heaven!!! I highly recommend this showerhead.

It is awesome. I absolutely LOVE the 5 different shower sprays, especially the one that has the massaging effect in it!!! It is very easy to use and install, I did it myself. I also love the fact that you dont have to turn the actual showerhead to change the sprays, there is a dial on the handle that allows you turn it, which is a lot easier. The head of it is also a lot bigger than most I have seen, so it makes for a wider spray!!

Overall, we ABSOLUTELY love this showerhead. Here are some pictures of it installed, and also on 3 of the different settings!!!

Kung Zhu Review

I was recently given the opportunity to review the whole line of Kung Zhu products, and throw a party with my kids friends.

Kung Zhu is the newest line in the Zhu Zhu pets series. My kids think these are A LOT better than the regular Zhu Zhu pets. I think because they are more aimed at boys, where as the original ones weren't. They stayed in their room and played with these little critters for hours after the party was over.

We held our party on June 26th. Total we had about 10 kids here. We opened all the boxes and just let the kids go to town. We took a snack break and then played some games. When those were over, we just let the kids continue playing while the adults conversed!!

My kids still play with these everyday. It will be quiet in the house and I will go in and check on them and they are playing with the kung zhu!!

Overall, these were a BIG hit!!! Here are some pics, (dont mind the date, I had to change the batteries and never reset the date):

Summer is almost here!!!

I am not sure about you guys, but it has been getting pretty warm here in good ole So Cal!!! We have been hitting the mid 80s, sometimes low 90s already. I love summer time. I love going to the beach and not having to get up early with the kids to take them to school.

Our spring baseball season just ended, which means summer will be here very very soon. The kids still have about 7 days of school here though, they dont get out until the 23rd.

This summer we will be taking our annual trip to the river, hopefully twice. I would like to go once with the kids and once sans kids. We will also be taking our fair share of trips to the beach, and spending some time at the park. We will also be spending our fair share of time in the backyard in the little pool.

We are all so excited for summer to be here!!!

OXI CLEAN MAX FORCE!!!!

This product is absolutely AMAZING!!! It is so easy to use, and it works amazingly well. With Boo Boo playing baseball this year (again), I needed something that worked really well against grass stains, and I think I found it.

I originally just started off with the spray:

And then just recently I saw that they came out with the Gel Stick:

I am so in heaven with these three products. They get out EVERY stain imaginable!!! I dont think I will EVER switch AGAIN!!! I am going to be a loyal OxiClean Max Force user.

I now recommend these three products to ANYONE that asks what stain remover works best.

Just last night M got ketchup ALL over her brand new (literally, just bought yesterday) white shirt. I didnt even notice it til this morning, and I put this stuff on it, and it ALL came out, as good as new!!! I was soooo happy!!!!

Hey everyone, whomever still reads my blog. I know it has been kinda boring lately, but so has my life, so nothing to really blog about.

I just wanted to check in with everyone and see how you all are doing. So if you are reading this, please leave a comment here so I know that I have readers and I am not blogging for no reason.

Things around here have been a little on the boring side. The kids are all doing good. Boo Boo is still playing baseball, he LOVES it. And it is baseball season, so we have been spending quite a bit of time at the baseball field. GO DODGERS!!!!

All three of the kids have really been pushing it lately to see what they could get away with. They have not been listening AT ALL!! I am at my wits end with them. I dont know what else I can do to get them to listen to me. But we are all pushing along and hoping that this phase ends REALLY REALLY soon!!! I dont know how much more I can handle.

As for me and D we are doing good. So overall, things around here are good, when the kids listen.

M has quite the imagination lately, she makes us laugh. She likes to play with her strollers and babies and pretend that they are traveling either on an airplane or bus or both!! When she is good, she is good, but lately those days have been few and far between!!

Allergies have been kicking all of our butts this year. We have been hit hard. Thankfully spring is almost over. I hate to say that cause I LOVE the weather of spring, but I hate the allergies that come with it.

Well thats pretty much all that is going on here.

This has been my life for the last week. We have the flu and pink eye going around our house!! We have had the house open all day today hoping to get whatever bacteria in the house, OUT!!!

This is my newest reading obsession!!! The Sookie Stackhouse books!! They are awesome!! The tv show "True Blood" is based off of these novels!! I have never watched the show, but I may have to look them up now and see if I can watch them online somewhere.

Sorry for the lack of posting pics. We are getting over pink eye and last night was my moms birthday and my van decided to leave us stranded at the store by her house. So that is why I havent posted the pics from Mon or Tues.

Here is N on the way to his first guitar lesson. He is carrying it on his back like a back pack!! He LOVES it and cannot wait to go back next Monday. He can already play "Happy Birthday" on the guitar and played it for my mom yesterday!!

Here is M last night, she was soooo sick. She had a 103.5 fever and was just miserable. They funny thing about it, is that it just hit her. We had just gotten home from a birthday party and she wouldnt move. She just layed in the middle of the living room floor. I gave her medicine and she said "I feel like I have to throw up" and she did!!! She is a lot better this morning though!!

Here is D in front of a car in Vegas. This pic was taken in August of 2009. We went to Vegas for my cousins 21st birthday!! We had a GREAT time!! It was the first time in 10 years we had been to Vegas!!! We are gonna start going more often!!
